When I asked Ethan to practice his smile on the way to t-ball pictures these are some of the faces I got...



It was pretty cute... except for the part where he likes to do exactly the opposite of what I ask :-) I think he was smiling for the actual photo... we'll see...

Uncle Zach

We love you Uncle Zach and enjoyed spending time with you today and this past week. We know you are going to have an amazing experience in Fort Worth, Texas for 2 YEARS but we are sure going to miss you!

My Happy Girl

I have only a couple of days left before I go back to work. My month off has gone by way to fast. I sure have loved the moments I have had to enjoy my kids... here are some beautiful pictures of my happy girl...

Nine Months

Ron and I took Addison to her 9 month visit with Dr. Morgese this week.
Addison is 18 pounds 7 ounces & 29 inches long.
She has two cute bottom teeth.
She waves and says "dadadadada" at the same time.
She likes to nuzzle faces (Ron calls this smooshy face).
She absolutely loves to play with her older brother.
She is eating finger foods.
She crawls all over the place and pulls herself up on furniture.
She is a very happy baby and we are completely in love with her.

Happy 80th Grandpa!

It is a day late but I want to say Happy 80th Birthday to my Grandpa Wagner...

As a kid, I was fortunate to grow up right next door to my Grandma and Grandpa Wagner and as an adult, my kids and I are lucky to live in the same town. We love you Grandpa!

Popsicle Day

Most of the people reading this blog will know that Wednesday at West Park School is Popsicle Day... I didn't think to take pictures during the popsicle eating but I did get some shots right after... Ethan playing and Addison with evidence that yes, I did share my fudgsicle with her...




By they way, I had Ethan take the picture of Addison's face... he is pretty good with that camera.

Cousins

We get together with Ron's family for Easter every year and have an egg hunt at Auntie Sally's house... The picture below is Addison, Ethan, Kylee, Reese and Ryann...

Ethan and Addison wore matching Big Brother, Little Sister shirts today (Ethan's idea)... I didn't get a good picture of the shirts but here is a cute one of the kids with Grandma and Grandpa...

Lesson by Grandpa... on Honesty (Ethan got an award last week at school for being honest), Grandpa also gave some fairly specific examples about not stealing candy from the store (I hope Ethan didn't get any ideas...) and Grandpa told the story about Ammon cutting off the arms of the Lamanites... hmmm... well, for the most part he had Ethan's attention...
Games... Apples to Apples (Ethan style... he gets to pick the winning card every round) and Memory.

Baby Bjorn no more!!!

This is a picture of Addison and I playing while Ethan was at t-ball practice... Addison loved the swing ~ she was all giggles. I like this picture a lot but it will be my last ever wearing a baby bjorn. I carried Addison in it for a couple of hours and my back has been in pain since ~ I am going to see a doctor in the morning.

Annual Egg Hunt

We love the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house. This year did not disappoint ~ great weather, family and friends, plenty of eggs, yummy snow cones and hot dogs... and a special visit from the EASTER BUNNY.

The first year Ethan met the Easter Bunny it was quite traumatic (really, he had bad dreams for weeks)... we have had small improvements each year... this year he was actually excited to see the Bunny and he really had no idea that he might know the person behind the mask.

I am posting pictures of pictures once again... here is a preview of photos we had taken at the mall the other day. It was quite an experience... Addison refused to wear her beautiful pink headband and immediately started crawling every time we positioned her for a photo. Of course, I still think they look darling.
