Happy 70th Birthday Granny!

We recently enjoyed a Benihana experience to celebrate Granny's 70th birthday. Happy Birthday Granny ~ We Love You!

Happy Thanksgiving ~ I just asked Ethan what he was thankful for...

"I'm thankful for my whole family. I'm thankful for my Aunties and Uncles. I'm thankful for my school. I'm thankful for my whole house and the world."

Halloween 2010

Here is a photo of Spiderman and Spidergirl...

Ethan carving his pumpkin...

My little girl is growing soooo fast... she says a few words, ball, bir (bird), baby, mom, dada, ma-ma (grandma), belly button (babababa). She has 8 teeth.

This week we moved the kids into the same room and turned Ethan's old room into an official office. I hope to blog more and Ron and I both hope to be able to focus more on LaborLooks. This has been an eventful month and I have some catching up to do... pictures of Katie's 30th & Granny's 70th soon.

Principal's Office

Ron and I attended Ethan's parent-teacher conference this past week... Everything is going great... except, well, the two days that he didn't come home with a turtle. One was the second week of school when he told the girl he sits next to that she was not pretty and made her cry. The other was last week when he ended up in the principal's office for hitting his Vintage buddy in the "privates". Otherwise, awesome!!!

Here is a picture of the first day of school...

and his class list...

We love you Ethan :-)

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Ron is out of town camping & fishing this weekend. It has just been me and the kids for the past couple days. On Saturday morning we decided to go to the pumpkin patch. We took lots of picture and here are a few of my favorites...

I love this last picture... no posing at all just a random shot that captures a sweet moment between my kids...

Math Assignment

Yes, Ethan wrote 3 and 4 for all of his math assignment answers. Ron is the one that noticed it was a pattern... 3,4,3,4,3,4,3,4... they did work on patterns a lot in Kindergarten.

First Tooth Fairy Visit

Ethan lost his first tooth on at school on August 26th... He was sooooo excited and the tooth fairy brought him a $2 bill. Pretty cool.

Ethan started first grade with Mrs. Shields (we are soooo excited)... so far he has brought home a turtle every day (10 turtles = prize). Keep it up Ethan!

Welcome Home

I am so happy to have my Ethan back home. I was disappointed that I didn't get to take the trip to pick him up last weekend because I was sick... so Addie girl and I stayed home while Ron, Ryann & Cara made the trip down south. They visited Great Grandpa Cochran and GG on the way (for a homemade dinner & visit) where they met up with Brittani and Rich... then had a slumber party at a hotel in Palm Desert and picked up Ethan the next morning. Ron & Ethan stayed another night before heading home to see us girls... Ethan & Addie were soooo excited to see each other (lots of hugging and giggling!!!)
We have had a fun, busy week... including a birthday party for Ethan that I have no pictures from! I have been slacking but mom had her camera and I will have to get some pictures from her to post soon. Until then... here is my handsome boy with one of his first birthday surprises...

We love you Addison Anne and treasure this first year we have had with you.

Big Brother

I'm thinking about My Ethan today... he left just a few hours ago for his 3 week summer visit to his Amanda Mom's house in 29 Palms, CA. It is always hard for me to see him go. He was really excited about his "vacation" this time and that makes me happy. He is such a sweet boy. He noticed I was tearing up as they were all buckled up and just about to pull away from the house, he quickly said "wait... I need to give Ashley something..." he then snagged one of his sister's little toys and handed it to me so I could "remember him". It is sitting on my counter and I will be sure to return it when I go pick him up :-) Ethan has always been a great big brother... The first picture below is Anya, Ethan, Anika & Addison at the Fourth of July parade downtown today...

Addison & Ethan after lunch at Villa Corona earlier this week...

I'm so thankful that this little girl below is mine all year long...

Addie loves Dean

Addison sure loves Dean... if he is in the room she wants to be right next to him... unless of course she can be playing with Dean's cool baby stuff (& Grandpa).

I need to get some photos of Ethan with Dean. I was lucky enough to babysit Dean while Katie had a dentist apt the other day. Dean slept almost the entire time. I went upstairs to check on Addison while Dean was sleeping in his baby carrier... when I came back down Ethan was sitting right next to him on the floor and slowly rocking his baby carrier. It was adorable. Thanks Erin for sending me the photo below of Dean when he was one day old - handsome little guy!

Summertime...

Here are some summer highlights so far!!!
Ethan's cast came off at the start of summer break...

Just in time for some Six Flags fun...

Addison loves to walk & explore (look at this beautiful porch that Uncle Cory & Auntie Katie have...)

Ethan is always being SILLY!

Pool fun at Grandma & Grandpa Great's house... Addie says... thanks Uncle Cory for blowing up my swimming pool and playing with me!

My first pickle and hanging out with Auntie Erin.

My first popsicle from the ice cream man!

We are so excited for a visit soon from our cousins... Ryann & Cara... and excited for Grandma & Grandpa to be staying in town for almost a whole week!

Baby Dean Michael

Baby Dean Michael Wagner was born on May 31st. I am so excited to have a new nephew. I got to sneak out of my house for a while yesterday to go hold him... he is so adorable. Ethan is sure excited to have a new little boy cousin.

Such a cute family...

I LOVE this photo...

Just a few minutes old...

Last Day of Kindergarten

Ethan's last day of Kindergarten...

Standing on the bench that Uncle Zach built for his Eagle Project (I think... or am I making this up??? I can't remember...)

In front of the West Park Eagles painting...

Ethan had a wonderful year as a PM Kindergartner in Mrs. Schuh's class. I sure love my little guy that is growing up soooo fast. This is the sweet email that we received from Mrs. Schuh this week...

"I give you back your child, the same child you confidently entrusted to my care last fall. I give them back reading, writing, pounds heavier, inches taller, months wiser, more responsible, and more mature then they were then.

I give them back reluctantly, for having spent ten months together in the narrow confines of a crowded classroom, we have grown close. We have lived, loved, laughed, played, studied, learned, and enriched our lives together this year. Take care of them, for they are precious.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to watch each child's personality unfold day by day and marvel at the splendid miracle of development in each one of them."

Anaheim Vacation

Addison has recently moved into her own room for sleeping!!! It is working great except for the fact that she shares a room with our computer. When Addie is sleeping is when I have time to blog, pay bills on computer, etc... and I can't because they are in the same room! Looks like I need to do some rearranging and quick!
Here are a few photo favorites from my trip to Anaheim last week for a conference and some fun! Addie, Auntie Devyn and I had a wonderful time. We also got to spend time with extended family (Auntie Barbara, Uncle Bob, Uncle John, and Patty and Steve Pickett)...
